Actively campaign for better-disabled rights across the globe
The World Health Organization has stated More than 1 billion persons in the world have some form of disability and Between 110-190 million people have very significant difficulties in functioning.
In the UK, 20% of the population is disabled in some way.
We want to raise the profile for disabled people and actively campaign for better rights and access to all public places and venues.
Jasmine is going to set sail in November 2019 from Cardiff to take advantage of the weather and trade winds on a global campaign, as the first disabled female to make a solo circumnavigation of the world. She will be highlighting the struggle that disabled people have on a daily bases and be campaigning for a more inclusive society.
Jasmine says her “Disabilities are a state of mind”, “I’m turning my disabilities into my assets”. Let’s change the way society perceives people with physical disabilities and or mental health problems, let’s eradicate the social stigma it has been tarnished with for too long.
“Donte Isolate accommodate”
Let’s educate the world that the Purple Pound as its called in the UK is potentially an additional 20% on top of companies gross turnover, with a little thought and imagination, By making small changes they can make a more inclusive and accessible venue and increase there profitability.
